In Kyiv, coffee has long become not only a morning habit but also a way to briefly step out of the city’s rhythm.
Especially when you’re not drinking it on the go, but with a view of Khreshchatyk, the Dnipro River, historic Podil, St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Cathedral, or a panoramic view of the city center from above. We’ve gathered 8 such locations. The list includes both dedicated coffee spots and restaurants or rooftop spaces worth visiting at least for a cup of espresso, cappuccino, or filter coffee with a view of Kyiv.
Octo Tower

Near Klovska metro station, Octo Tower operates as a six-story space that brings together a café, coworking area, lecture hall, shop, and bar under one roof. People come here not only for coffee but also for the view: tables are set up on the terraces and rooftop, so you can grab a drink and stay to enjoy Kyiv from above.
On the ground floor, there is a brew bar offering classic and specialty coffee, signature coffee-based cocktails, tea, matcha, kombucha, and cocoa. The drinks are complemented by pastries, desserts, all-day breakfasts, as well as salads, soups, burgers, and snacks. In the warm season, iced drinks and summer cocktails appear on the menu, making Octo Tower equally suitable for a quick coffee break or a longer, relaxed stay with a city view.

This is the third Milk Bar location in Kyiv and also the largest. The menu has been expanded, wood-fired pizza added, while preserving what the brand is loved for — breakfasts and signature desserts. Desserts are paired with coffee from ONE LOVE coffee roasters, making Milk Bar TSUM perfect for both a leisurely breakfast and coffee with a view in the city center. A special bonus: here you can try the legendary lemon cake once served in the TSUM cafeteria.
